Hovey's is an excellent place to buy meats. The chicken and chicken pieces are very good. Always tender and tasty. My daughter just loves the stuffed baked potatoes which make it easy when I want to put dinner together in a hurry.

We moved to Barrie nine years ago. Its difficult to find a good butcher shop. However I discovered Hovey's after reading about their signature Bull being taken. I visited the store and found the quality of meat and price to be unmatched in Barrie, specifically the exceptional price of their Beef Tenderloin for which we purchase frequently.
Price is one thing that attracts patrons however customer service and industry knowledge is what keeps patrons returning. We moved from a small town and were use to merchants greeting you on a more personal level. This is the unique quality of Hovey's, that personal touch and friendliness.

Hovey's Gourmet Meat is a perfect example of top quality in business. The integrity of meat is very important to us and the meat at Hovey's has integrity. In a word, they have the best cuts of meat available! The store is run by very friendly and knowledgeable staff, who care about selling only the best quality meat.
When you compare their standards to the pricing it doesn't get any better. We wouldn't shop anywhere else!!!
